1. Membership

Members agree to have one User Name and one User ID only. Should any Member attempt to acquire further memberships, we will take action in removing excess accounts with the original account being suspended and/or terminated at our sole discretion.

Information provided by Members will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Members must provide a valid email address to hold an account – this will be validated by us. Should we be unable to contact you through the email address provided, your account will be suspended until such time as we are able to contact you through a current and valid email address.

Members may alter or change their registered email address details in the account page under personal page, provided that at all times those details include a valid and current email address.

Members of PoultryTrade.com agree to complete the sale of an item listed if you are the highest bidder.

When you place a bid on a listed auction item, you agree to be bound by the terms of sale in the seller’s listing, provided that the terms do not violate this User Agreement and are lawful.

Questions regarding individual listings must be clarified PRIOR to placing a bid on an item, as once you have placed a bid you will be contractually obliged to complete the transaction if that bid is successful.

PoultryTrade.com will not guarantee or accept any liability for any item listed or the content contained within a listing.

Purchases through PoultryTrade.com are entirely at the risk of the winning bidder.

 

 

 

A ‘shill bid’ is a bid placed on an item by the seller or another person known to the seller (eg a friend, family member or other representative) in order to increase the price of the item under auction.

 

This User Agreement may be amended from time to time, at our discretion.

Members who place the highest bid or meet the reserve price and are the highest bidder in an auction are deemed to have won the item up for auction. Items won by a buyer must be paid for as per the terms set out in the auction listing.

Buyers who fail to complete a transaction through non-payment will be reported by the seller to PoultryTrade.com

Buyers who have placed a bid on an auction item may contact the seller to request their bid to be cancelled. Bids may only be cancelled by PoultryTrade.com and therefore sellers must contact us in order to remove any bids they agree to cancel. However, any bid whether it be a winning bid or not is placed at the buyers risk and sellers are not obliged to cancel any bids whatsoever.

Buyers failing to complete a transaction on 3 occasions will not be tolerated and therefore will have their account immediately terminated This will deem the member unable to log in or bid on any listed auctions, indefinitely. Members’ accounts will be suspended/terminated at our sole discretion.

PoultryTrade.com strongly recommends that sellers do not send items to buyers until items are paid for in full.

We also advise sellers to ensure that when sending items to buyers they use a service that is fully traceable in order to eliminate buyers from not receiving items paid for.

 

PoultryTrade.com accepts no liability whatsoever between buyers and sellers and their transactions, neither do they accept any liability on the sending and receiving of goods.

 

Sellers that are reported 3 times for non-receipt of goods and who cannot prove the sending of goods will have their account terminated.  This will deem the member unable to log in or bid on any listed auctions, indefinitely. Members’ accounts will be suspended/terminated at our sole discretion.
